Kendal Care Home is a modern luxury care home with full ensuite rooms, cinema rooms and a bar. The ehome offers a range of care options from dementia, residential and nursing care including support for other older people’s care issues all from a team of highly-skilled staff.

Our dedicated team will develop tailor made care plans for each resident, while there is a range of activities and outings for residents. The home has an in house chef who cooks nutritious home made meals every day.

Meet the manager

My name is Graham Burrell and I am the Registered Home Manager here at Kendal Care Home. Redundancy from a chemical engineering career gave me the impetus to retrain and choose a new fulfilling career path in nursing. I qualified with distinction and a national nursing award in 2012. My nursing career saw me predominantly working in complex dementia services and eventually lead me to become a Home Manager. I have enjoyed 10 years being a successful Home Manager and am very proud to be in my third year at Kendal Care Home.

I am committed and passionate in my role at Kendal Care Home which provides a warm and welcoming environment to our residents and their families. Our team deliver high quality, individualised care and forge great relationships with our families.
