Qualified Occupational Therapist
Kendal Care Home, Burton Road, Kendal, Cumbria, LA9 7RG
Contract: 37.5 hours weekly
Skills/Qualifications: Degree in Occupational Therapy

Key responsibilities
- To undertake resident assessments of physical, communication, interaction and cognitive skills
- To undertake the planning and providing appropriate treatment and activities to support resident’s goals
- To liaise with residents, carers, families and other professionals in planning reviews and treatment plans of the residents
- To advise and discuss the aims and objectives of occupational therapy with staff members and the benefits on how to approach everyday tasks differently
- To be able to supervise and lead wellbeing and activity teams
- To be committed in delivering physical and emotional needs to all residents in a dignified and respectful manor
- To maintain accurate, concise and timely documentation, reporting on changes of wellbeing to the General Manager or the person in charge
- To be committed in expanding your knowledge and personal development
