Kendal Care Home were all very excited to kickstart the latest trip out with a visit to the Oasis Wildlife Centre near Milnthorpe. They were greeted by an array of Leaf Cutting Ants that were walking along ropes directly above their heads, to seeing more amazing creatures such as the Goliath Bird Eating Tarantula, Poison Arrow Dart Frog and the Chameleon. Residents and staff of Kenyon Lodge Care home came together making an array of cakes, to support the “World’s Biggest Coffee Morning”. We coffee and tea flowing and cakes galore their fundraiser was a huge success! Well done to everyone for supporting this fabulous cause.

Today residents of our Farnworth Care Home built a new friend, a dinosaur. They had so much fun with this creation who is loved by so many. Apparently it is a lady dinosaur but a name not yet decided. Maybe Diana Saur?

Celebrating World Elephant Day with our residents of Kenyon Lodge Did you know that elephants get their task, which are actually large incisor teeth when they are two years old and they eat about 150kg of food a day, equivalent of 150 bags of chips for us!
